Leroy asks what my own Labor Day Writing Challenge (mentioned below) is. It's this:
I’m working on a novelette now an have a stack of story ideas collecting dusk, so my goal is to write 30,000 words of first draft short fiction by Labor Day, that’s an average of 1200 words per day. Finish one story, and continue with the next first draft immediately. I’m working on tightening up my turnaround time between projects. I’ll update more or less daily on Twitter (http://twitter.com/michaelcanfield) or my blog, and report back to
Jenn on Labor Day!
Reward: Task satisfaction, and a big stack o' pages. Punishment: Disappoint over failure to keep self-commitment.
