"Vicky Christina Barcelona"

Terrific movie. People don't change. Narrative, story, is about movement, so this fundamental facet of human nature is hard to portray in dramatic form. In fact, what is less dramatic at first pass, than to have a group of characters come out one side of the labyrinth of story no different then they were when they entered it. Well, one thing that I can think of. That is to have the same unchanged characters totally unaware that they have not changed.

Yet I left the theater deeply moved. The best art reminds you of something you already knew, (and already knew that you knew) but forgot.
